Football transfer news and rumours: Jose Mourinho targets Man Utd's next January acquisition - Ivory Coast midfielder Jean-Michael SeriFootball transfer news and rumours: Jose Mourinho targets Man Utd's next January acquisition - Ivory Coast midfielder Jean-Michael Seri

sbobet8888 Now that Jose Mourinho has bagged Alexis Sanchez he is considering Manchester United's next January acquisition - with three names popping to the surface, according to The Independent.

Nice's 26-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder Jean-Michael Seri is said to be Mourinho's top pick, while Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian playmaker Fred - strongly linked with Man City - is also a candidate.

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil, 29, completes the trio, although the German World Cup winner is reported to be after more than £300,000 a week wherever he moves to once his contract expires this summer. And having just seen Sanchez leave the Emirates for Old Trafford, Arsene Wenger will surely do all that he can to avoid Ozil following suit.

Speaking of Arsenal, the Gunners are now in pole position to sign Jonny Evans as well as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a combined £75 million, reveals this morning's Telegraph, after Manchester City cooled their interest in the West Bromwich Albion defender and negotiations advanced yesterday with Borussia Dortmund.

Aubameyang sent Arsenal fans into a spin with a tweet on Tuesday that was perceived to hint at a deal. Along with a waving emoji the post was signed off "xxxxxxL" - suspected by some to say Arsenal with most of the letters removed.

The Daily Mail says Gunners forward Olivier Giroud, 31, has also been part of the negotiations regarding a potential player swap.

Real Madrid have reignited their long-standing interest in Man Utd goalkeeper David de Gea, reveals Marca, with the 27-year-old Spaniard a previous target for Zinedine Zidane.

The Spanish giants are also reportedly interested in Chelsea's Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Manchester City are said to have their sights on Aymeric Laporte, The Daily Mirror claims. However, to land the Athletic Bilbao defender they may have to cough up £57 million to satisfy a buyout clause, the newspapers says.

The French 23 year-old was expected to move to the Etihad in 2016, although he reportedly pulled out the deal.

Further talks have taken place between West Ham and Inter Milan over midfielder Joao Mario, The Daily Mail reports, as the Hammers look for emergency replacements for injured Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini.

Inter are reportedly demanding a loan fee and obligation to buy at the end of the loan, while West Ham will also have to pay the 25 year-old's wages in full. sbobet8888

Javier Hernandez, West Ham's Mexico international, is open to leaving the club, despite manager David Moyes saying the opposite, ESPN reports.

Leon Bailey, the 20-year-old Bayer Leverkusen winger, is being tracked by Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea, according to The Daily Mirror.

Swansea have played down reports midfielder Roque Mesa, 28, wants to return to Spain and join Sevilla.

And while we're on the subject of Swansea, chairman Huw Jenkins is offering Argentina star Nicolas Gaitan £120,000-a-week to join his survival fight, according to The Sun.

It seems the Welsh club are willing to make Gaitan, 29, their best-paid player for the rest of the season in a desperate bid to beat the drop.

Best of the rest

Ronaldo wants to buy English club

Ronaldo - the Brazilian one, not the Portuguese - has revealed he is thinking about buying a "second division" team in England or Spain in order to gain experience running a football club.

The legendary striker has been tipped for the role of football federation president in his homeland, but wants to become a club owner first.

"It would be a great honour, but before that I want to experience running a big club," Ronaldo told Folha de S. Paulo.

"I'm thinking about buying a club in the second division in Spain or England. I want to do something innovative. I think I'm prepared for the challenge."

Atom and Humber pledge loyalty to United

Alexis Sanchez is clearly very happy about his move to Manchester United... and he has already started decorating everything and anything that he can lay his eyes on in United red.

Sanchez even dressed Atom and Humber in United's home kit with 'Alexis' printed on the back.
