Hallo allemaal,
Mijn man heeft MSA en nu heeft hij last van orthostatische hypertensie. Als hij gaat staan zakt zijn bloeddruk naar 70/30 als hij ligt of zit is zijn bloeddruk goed. Hij valt hierdoor heel vaak omdat hij dan flauwtes krijgt, het licht gaat letterlijk uit. Herkent iemand dit en wat kan je hiertegen doen?

Hallo Wilma,
ik ben ook MSA P patiënt; nog niet zo'n uitgesproken probleem met een te lage bloeddruk.
Er zijn beslist middelen om dit voor een deel op te vangen. Ga in overleg met je huisarts.
Zout in je eten helpt trouwens ook een beetje.
Heeft de afdeling neurologie waar jullie komen een "Parkinson Consulente"?
Dat is de aangewezen vraagbaak voor dit soort dingen. Als jullie ziekenhuis die service niet heeft is het de overweging waard een ander ziekenhuis op te zoeken.

Ik lees net je reactie, het is opgelost door steunkousen en een buikband aan te doen voordat Ben s ochtends uit bed opstaat.
Dir probleem is nu verholpen maar prompt komen er weer anderen.
